It's in Chinese. The content of this news says Bill spent 100 million RMB (about 14 million USD) to rent a penthouse suite in Beijing for his tour during the Beijing Olympic Games. Most of Chinese readers think it's a fake news.
I understand whether Bill rent it or not is his own business. But I think if it's a fake news, it will be great help that your fund or Bill can clarify this news himself.

昨日有媒体报道称盖茨花1亿元在北京租空中四合院看奥运会,经网易科技多方证实,该报道并不属实.盖茨目前服务的机构美国盖茨基金会在今日凌晨回复的邮件称,“我们可以确认该消息是假的.”媒体报道称世界首富、微软创始人比尔·盖茨决定花费一亿元在“鸟巢”旁边的一楼盘租一套180平米的空中四合院,用以观看奥运.报道一出即引发网民的质疑,许多网友在评论中称“绝不相信盖茨会花这么钱租房看奥运”,甚至有网友直指“这是一场毫无水平的炒作.”
网易科技分别于北京时间昨日上午10时和北京时间昨晚11时向盖茨办公室以及盖茨美琳达基金会办公室方面发信求证巨资租楼事件,负责盖茨基金会的公关负责人Mala Persaud回复表示,将介入调查此事,并尽快给网易科技答复.
今日6时10分,盖茨基金会媒体组代表盖茨方面正式回信否认了此事.
昨日下午,微软全球资深副总裁、微软中国董事长张亚勤在出席一个新闻发布会时也对媒体暗示,盖茨巨资租房看奥运事件可能是房地产制造的一起炒作,张亚勤对媒体提到该事件时称其为假新闻.
昨天晚间22时左右,成都商报方面曾表示,记者采访了盘古大观楼盘的相关人士,上述说法也是由对方提供.
